Just one tree, grows a future

Growing trees to tackle poverty in Africa. Support us

What we do

We work with people in the drylands of Africa to tackle poverty and the effects of the climate crisis by growing trees, improving people’s incomes, and restoring and protecting land. Led by local people, our projects make sure trees thrive so they can provide food and incomes today and protect the environment for tomorrow.

Our impact

Our projects provide food and income for communities, tackling poverty today. They also offer long-term change, improving the environment and soil fertility and addressing the effects of the climate crisis, for tomorrow.

Where we work

Tree Aid works in the drylands of Africa’s Sahel, where over 300 million people’s lives are affected by a drastic reduction in fertile land and the climate crisis.

That is why we are working with communities in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Mali, Niger and Ethiopia to tackle it today and influence change for tomorrow.
